5km… This is my world now… 5km…

How weird could become our life since last year, isn’t it?

It’s been nearly a year now that we are in lockdown in this island, in the middle of nowhere.

The only thing that I can tell is: too windy, too dark, too cold, too lonely.

Years ago when I decided to explore this place, I was planning to explore and go away to explore a new place in our planet, I wanted to travel to the very North of our planet, face a new experience, but then, 5km…

I’m passing my days like that: wake up, coffee, porridge, virtual colleagues at work, face my computer, look for the freedom outside from my window, lunch, talk with a few clients, study, dinner, films, books, run, chat with friends/family online, meet boyfriend, to sleep ZZZZZzzzzz…

And repeat all over again and…

again and and again and again and again and again and again…

I’m feeling like a robot.

My entire world became a 5km world, with no idea when we’ll be able to walk beyond the 5km radius.

I feel like a robot living in the myth of Plato’s cave. — well, maybe this isn’t the right comparison, but since there’s almost never sun…
